Dear All,
2014,the  first year of Tailwind scholarship has been a successful one. We have had the privilege of awarding $ 24,000.00 scholarships to young talented Muslim American students in addition to providing seed funding to two new start-up companies – headed up by Muslim American entrepreneurs.

Tailwind Scholarship Fund (a non-profit 501 (C)(3) institution) is an initiative geared towards providing assistance to Muslim American students and entrepreneurs. Tailwind Scholarship’s core offerings feature:

1. Academic scholarships for college and graduate students
2. Mentorship for students and entrepreneurs
3. Seed capital for start-up companies

Now more than ever, it is vital that we plant the seeds for the success of future American Muslim generations. Paving the path to a top notch higher education is a critical component to this objective. Tailwind supports studies within the fields of Journalism, Political Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Medicine, Literature, and Business.

Additionally, by providing financial resources and counseling for Muslim business men and women – we seek to assist entrepreneurs in unlocking the potential of their business vision. Tailwind provides a unique opportunity for up and coming business minds to work with established business leaders and get first-hand guidance for each stage of their respective business ventures.

We offer opportunities to make one-time – tax deductible – donations or recurring monthly donations to our scholarship programs and entrepreneurial funds. Additionally, our donors will have the option to sponsor a named scholarship (on behalf of themselves or a loved one).
